Klash Format for 2008
:
48 cars or less, there will be an A & B Feature only – The A Feature will be comprised of the top 22 qualifiers, one Kalamazoo Speedway points provisional, one Klash Series points provisional, the winner of the B Feature, and the Fan Favorite Provisional, where the crowd will have up until 7PM to vote a non qualified driver into the A Feature (drivers, make sure to get your fans to the Klash & tell them to vote for you, as it could be worth $10,000) - All cars will qualify 3 consecutive laps – The B & C Features will race on the 4 tires you qualify on – The A Feature Cars will be allowed 8 races tires, with the 4 qualifying tires to be the tires you start the 1st segment of the race on.
There will be a 10 minute scuff session after the B-Feature for all A Feature cars to scuff in their 2nd set of race tires. – The A Feature will be stopped at the completion of lap 100 , with all cars having a 15 minute break for new tires, adding fuel, and adjustments, thus followed up with the final 50 lap segment.
This 15 minute time will be strictly enforced, as the time will be displayed on the scoreboard.
Any cars not ready to race will go to the tail of the field – At the start of this 15 minute break,
the leader will go to the front stretch and roll a single dice for the inversion of the second segment (inversion to be a 1-6) –
All Restarts will go as follows:
all lead lap cars will start all restarts side by side (including the restart of the 2nd segment).
The leader will have the option of choosing the inside or the outside lane on all restarts.
All other lead lap cars will then line up as normal, with the odd position cars (3rd, 5th, 7th, etc.) starting on the inside lane and the even position cars (4th, 6th, 8th, etc.) starting on the outside.
All lapped cars will start directly behind the double file cars, in single file order.

Kalamazoo Speedway is pleased to announce the hottest new Outlaw Late Model Series in the Midwest for 2008: The Kalamazoo Klash Super Series.
Lane Automotive & Boyne Machine will be hosting this Late Model extravaganza, along with a select few associate & contingency sponsors, which will be announced in the near future. You can view the complete race payoffs as well as the $15,000 guaranteed point fund for the four race Klash Super Series.
